shield ca compliant vs regular shield

i bought a 9mm shield ca compliant model... i know the differences compared to the regular shield.. is there any problems with performance or do they both perform equally... i got this last year for 360 new otd... any other insights are welcomed.... thanks

Other than the chamber load indicator and mag disconnect, there should be no other difference.

Some have complained the load indicator protrudes into the sight picture, others have said no problem.

Apex makes a replacement indicator.
