I have both the the 357SIG and 9mm Conversion barrels for the 40S&W Shield. Both are virtually identical in quality and workmanship to the factory barrels, and function perfectly (with caliber-correct mags).
Actually, it depends on what year your Shield was manufactured.
Mine is an original from early 2012 and none of their 9mm replacement barrels worked in my Shield9. Their breech was just a couple mm too wide to allow lockup. Possibly, S&W changed the machining of the Breech later on?
I've not heard of any problems with their conversion barrels.

I want to get a 357sig barrel for a Shield. That would be awesome.
