Shield Holster

You'll get a lot of holsters to buy answers. Try this. where the paddle bends over___stick something (a screw driver handle may work) that forces that area more open and take a hair dryer to that "bend" area. Depending on the way the paddle edges are,
I've done this successfully on several paddle holsters.
I've wound with the butt (grip) of the pistol hugging me.

Thanks but this holster is pretty thick on the back side which is the issue. Unless I am missing something.

Rosen Upper Limit is great as suggested.Wife likes crossdraw and carries her Shield 9 in one but for the Shield 45,the Panther is spectacular. Very unique design with adjustable tension. Specially made for your own belt width.

In the video the guy says it's designed to be worn at 4:00. Can it be worn at 2:00? How uncomfortable is the Kydex piece that sticks up and goes against your skin?

Only having experience with Kydex, how well does a leather holster hold the firearm?

A quality leather holster retains the pistol very well. I prefer leather over Kydex as I find them more comfortable to wear. I make my own using a pancake speed scabbard design. The key is to have a good belt to support the weight and keep it tight to the body.

Smoke,I have found nothing negative at all about the Panther. Jim Kay makes these holsters and his partner Scott tests each one thoroughly before they leave the shop. That unique paddle design really hugs the body. It is secure on the belt and the pistol is very secure,but as stated you can adjust the tension to your preference. I only had to back off the top tension screw about one turn to get the draw that I wanted.
Shipping is fast. He will ask you specific questions about your carry mode to be sure he gets everything exactly right for you. Great guys to do business with. I went through hundreds of draws with mine the week I got it,and was very happy with the speed of presentation. Conceals like a pancake holster.

Yup to both. I am in South Texas its hot last 5 days over 100. I wear a wife beater style and I am not even married but I am comfortable.
All leather holster owb 3/4 oclock.
