Shield HOLSTERS

I just modified a Bianchi 100 holster originally made for a G26 (I no longer own) to fit the Shield. The only problem area was the trigger guard but some water and shoving the Shield in surrounded by a plastic baggie worked out well. Now I have it for quick trips to the store and the Old Faithful for when I'm out all day.

I do have the Shield mold now and make them quite often. Still only $40.00.

I like the Remora for most days--very comfortable and quick on/off. I have an Old Faithful in cowhide for when I need to tuck. I like both holsters for what they do.

Holsters are like women...everyone's got a little bit different taste. I don't think you can go too too wrong with the holsters that are being mentioned. Crossbreed, N82 Tactical, PJ, and tons of others are going to treat you right. But while we are weighing in, I'll chime in with my like of FoxX Holsters out of Detroit. So for my Shield I went with the FoxX Trapp...great product, great value, and really great customer service (for my FS9 I got the Little FoxX).

I've been looking at this one for a few days now. I have been wanting a nice leather one and this one is really nice looking. I have used hybrid IWB holsters with other handguns, but I just have been leaning towards the leather ones for my Shield.

My 40 shield rides in a Remora IWB that does really well for me and when I want to carry leather, it is in a Lobo Gunleather IWB off-set clip horsehide holster.

I carry my Shield 40 in a Old Faithful holster that i put together myself and really like it alot, but those Alien holsters caught my eye in a magazine last month. They look really nice for the price and you cant beat their warranty.

I think you are better off with the 9mm Shield than with the .40 Shield.

I have a iwb from McCabe's. It is very good quality and very comfortable.
Only complaint is that it took 7 months to get it.
