Shield night sights

I've been snooping around this site and Google the past few days using the search engines like crazy. I've found very few results of what I've looked for, so I thought I'd join to ask. If I overlooked my questions from previous threads, I'm sorry.

I bought a Shield in 9mm, and I want some night sights for this bad boy. I've only been able to find (correct me if I'm wrong) 2 companies who make sights specifically for the Shield:
Ameriglo
XS Sights

Will regular M&P sights work with the Shield, and do all night sights require the amount of fitting that XS are said to need?

Have you checked out Trijicon? I've got some of their night
sights on my M&P40C & I really like them.

Yes, I've looked into Trijicon, but I didn't recall seeing any Shield sights; however, will regular M&P sights fit the Shield. I had a set of Trijicons on my Glock 19 when I had it.

I downloaded the PDF listing the Shield Accesories from S&W's website. It's been pretty helpful, but I haven't found all that are listed. William's Fire Sights, XS and Hi Viz are listed there.

Will M&P Full/Compact sights fit the Shield?

Shield sights

The full size sights will not fit the shield due to the smaller width of the shield(profile). Not sure on the compact?

So you're saying that the sights will hangover a little on the slide?
