What night sights are you running on your shield? I am looking at getting the truglo TFO sights for mine. From what I have read, truglo is releasing a set made just for the shield middle or late this month...... Just want your thoughts.

I do prefer all green dots and 2 dots in back, 1 in front....

I have had TFO's on 2 pistols, Trijicon HD's and am giving Ameriglo's a try now. I will make my decision after I try the Ameriglo's on what goes on my Shield

Shield Night Sights

I went with the Ameriglo SW145s also. 3 green dots.

Trijicon HD Orange

They do not make these for the Shield as far as I can find anywhere .... I think one of us called Trijicon and was advised they may consider making them for the Shield at some point.

I have the TFOs on my Shield 9mm and Trijicon HDs on my G17 Gen 4. Really like both sights - Both give a great sight picture in bright daylight and in near darkness as well.

IMO, the Trijicon HD sights sit a little too tall for a small frame single stack defensive pistola. YMMV...

Received this from TruGlo today.

"We do not have a firm availability date for the revised rear sight for the S&W Shield.

We do not expect it to be too much longer, but ask for your understanding and to please get back in touch with us in the future for updates.

Thanks for the update as I have been itching to again contact TruGlo. In my past correspondence with them they were looking at the end of this month for the Shield TFO release so IMO they are still on track. Even if they run a bit longer, I still have all my white dots...
