Anyone out there have any updates as to how their Shield (I have the .40) is doing after owning/shooting awhile and the initial excitement fades? Any issues, still enjoy carrying it. Do you enjoy shooting it, anything really. I appreciate hear others opinions. I've had mine for approx 6 months and am even happier with it now than when I got it!

The Shield is one of my guilty guns. I've got glocks, kahrs, springfields, etc all in rotation for concealed carry. I can shoot the shield better than quite a few of my guns. I love how it feels in my hand and I'm perfectly happy with the build quality and reliability. Right now, I get up in the morning and I want to put it on for the day, but I feel guilty about that decision because it feels like the easy choice. It's winter and my other guns demand some attention as well and so I grab my Glock 30S or something else. It's like I feel the need to save the Shield for special occasions where the others won't work. Stupid perfect shield.

Coming up on 2 Years in May... I've put a few K rounds through it...
Still Flawless, still Front Pocket Carrying every day, still an All-Day-Shooter... Still Almost as smooth to shoot as my G26.

At the range, my shooting has been as good, if not better than my XDMc and G26 at 7 and 10 yards.

I'm just as happy with it now, as the day I got it.

The heavy trigger comes up from time to time. Are most of the happy owners shooting a stock set up??

Have had mine for almost a year and half...still dig it big time. It's still my EDC. It is almost all stock except for the site (TRU GLO TFO). I still dig the way it carries, the way it shoots, and the way that when I'm with it at the range, my family and friends love to shoot as much as I do.

Simply said it still a whole lotta rock n roll!

Loving mine more every day, I'm just waiting for the Apex poly AEK trigger to come out to make it perfect.

Purchased my 9mm Shield last May. Carry it everyday and have put over 1000 rounds through it without a malfunction.

Fun to shoot and extremely accurate.

Still stock but am looking at putting better sights on it. Front dot came off sight within first month. Using high viz paint temporarily.

I absolutely love my Shield, especially have I had just put some Williams Fire Sights on it last week. Even more amazing. I absolutely love this gun to death and trust it with my life. I have not had a single malfunction since day one and I have over a 1000 rnds in it since I bought it in December. Really happy with my EDC piece.

I have the 40, love it. Just started carrying last week, Illinois, and am happy with my decision. I have about 1600 through it in the last year.

I've had my Shield 9mm for a year now and I've put 1000 rounds or more through it without a problem. Its a great concealed carry piece and I love it!

Mine gets better and better every time I take it to the range. A lot of dry fire at home helps. I got it the last week of Dec 2013 and have put 460 rounds of various brands of ammo thru it. So far it works great with all of them. Mine is the 9mm version.

I love my 9mm shield. It is extremely accurate. I can shoot alot better groups with it than I can my M&P pro 40. Was planning on shooting an upcoming IPDA shoot with my pro 40 but I am alot better with my shield so that is what I am using. I can shoot awesome groups with this shield. LOVE It !!!!!

I love my Shield. It may be extremely accurate, but I am not. I guess I will never know for sure, but my accuracy with it compares favorably with my other guns. It seems to be the gun that I could never find a reason to sell or trade. I just don't see any weaknesses.

I am not pleased with the accuracy I'm getting from my Shield 40. I had an Apex kit installed and have a great trigger, but I don't have the accuracy to trust it to carry. On the other hand, my Dan Wesson Valor commander and M&P full size 40 are very accurate. I can't complain in the reliability department, maybe I need more gunpowder blown out the muzzle... I have less than 200 rounds through it at this time. Any suggestions?

Well I'm another very happy Shield owner. My 9mm shoots very good groups even shooting at 50 feet. No complaints at all, have had zero issues with it. For me it's been the best bang for the buck. :)
