Hello, am i able to use older guide rods from the 1.0 Shield in the Shield Plus? such as Smith & Wesson(R) Shield 9mm & 40 cal Guide Rod by Stainless Steel Guide Rods • Stainless Steel Guide Rods

I haven't the faintest idea, but I do want to compliment you on your cool Forum name.

You might want to call S&W customer service and/or the stainless steel guide rod folks for a definitive answer.

If your Shield Plus is able to function with the OEM Gen1 or Gen2 RSAs, it SHOULD be able to use the SSGR.

FWIW: Not a fan of the SSGR.
