Ever had a girlfriend who you thought was beautiful, sexy, compact and slender athletic build, she checks all your boxes? You date for a while, but can’t seem to connect. You still think she’s great, but on one date you realize no matter how you adjust your behavior, she’s just not that in to you.

I think it’s the grip shape, mostly. That elliptical cross section doesn’t work for me. The groups aren’t that bad for a compact defensive pistol, but not what I’d like. I want to keep her in the safe, though; no plans to sell her. She’s 100% reliable.

That was the story of me and my P365. No functional problems, decent groups (but always low/left), a light but mushy trigger and always had to adjust my grip and wrist angle (pointed low) when drawing from a holster. However, I dumped her. Even with my smaller hands, I like to hold onto something ample with a secure grip and naturally pointing grip angle. I like 'em short also so I'm now keeping company with a Shield+ PC with 3.1" barrel. Lust has now turned into love.

Not a sheild guy but the M&P 2.0 compact 4" TS and OR we do have with a holosun 507c-GR X2 on it for future carry , maybe . For now its a practice pistol and we have a 4.25 core set up the same way .

My wife has a p365xl she likes and carry some along with a kimber ultra 9mm. Both have proven to be accurate and reliable. The p365xl is OR so there's a K version of the same optic for it but in the safe for now till me wife wants in mounted .

Learn to sweep the trigger and "mushy" is a non issue but nether is a 3lb 1911 trigger or 5.5lb typical striker trigger . Don't believe ? Most training centers do . The P365xl grips to small for me and the smaller p365 is not remotely wanted even by my wife ether . No pocket bang bangs for daily carry . Now women can wear garter belt holsters like CAN CAN sells when a dress is needed and my wife has a ruger max for that with extra 12 round mag .

I carry full size pistol's , lw commander or 4.25 m&p 40

My 5-2 66 year old wife packs ether a kimber ultra 9mm or the p365xl .

You bigger handed men or women may prefer Gray Guns larger circumference grip for both size p365's .

Well, I couldn’t stop thinking about her. So I got her a new pair of tight-fitting jeans. Heavy duty bike inner tube material, to be exact. I can’t keep my hands off her backstrap, now. Feels great. Took her out on a date today, and she really put out for me. I think we’re gonna live happily ever after.
