Shield Plus Pocket Carry, Possible?

I wear regular fit Levis boot cut jeans 95% of the time and a Ruger LCP .380 is the biggest thing I can carry. The slimmer fit pants have been the style the last few years instead of the baggy and sloppy look. Some guys don't care about being in style but I wish someone made regular fit jeans with bigger slanted pockets with heavy duty pocket liners for carrying a gun. I bet they would sell a ton of them!

Sounds like Mom Jeans to me
Here's something for pocket carry.

FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A formerly active member here used to pocket-carry a full-sized SIG-Sauer P220 .45 ACP. He wasn't the smallest of men and he wore loose overalls. I thought he was joking when he told me about it - not only was he telling the truth, that wasn't the largest handgun I saw him comfortably carry concealed in his pocket. It taught me a lesson about saying what was possible and impossible.

Turns out that one can do all manner of things depending on the vagaries of juggling variables. :) I've uncomfortably pocket-carried guns of the size you mention in cargo shorts. Myself in my life and my present lifestyle and mode of dress? I wouldn't probably aim to pocket-carry the gun you asked about. :)

Get rid of Levi's. They've been rather anti-2A for quite a while There were a few articles about it some time back) and do not make their pockets 'Carry Friendly'.

Wrangler's pocket's slash angle are easier to draw from.
Of course... Skinny Jeans may be trendy, but they are not Carry Friendly. The old joke: 'Is that a gun in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?' ring a bell? :D

There are huge differences in pocket depth and width of openings!in pants. Pay attention to the thickness of the pocket material too. A lot of clothing manufacturers skimp on quality of pocket fabric to cut costs.

Can only speak from my experience but I bought a G1 9mm Shield the year they came out back in 2012 and carry it 90%+ in a Desantis pocket holster since day one. Tried all kinds of IWB holsters and always went back to pocket carry. I choose my shorts and pants based on pocket depth and volume.
I do not understand how anyone has any issues carrying a Shield in a front pocket unless it is quite shallow.
Now if you insist on having a red dot on your Shield I can see where that can make pocket carry more difficult.
Heck I can comfortably carry my Sig P320 Carry in my Carhart jackets top left inside pocket.
