The title of this thread is very misleading. The sight didn't fall off. You just lost a little paint. Minor repair job. That's all.
Guys who had their sight dot fall off, did you ever get cleaning solvent on the dot before it fell off?
Made my thumb sore trying to loosen up new mags.
Grab yourself an UpLULA loader and you'll wonder how you ever lived before you found it.
Wonderful tool to have.
.
What's a UpLula loader?(lets see how much mileage I get out of this question).
I've tried both. The acrylic can hold up IF you finish with a layer of clear nail polish on top as a seal.I visited Walmart tonight in anticipation of the sight problem happening to my Shield.
Walmart has acrylic glow and non glow paint for $1.97 in their arts and crafts section. They also have glow and non glow lacquer nail polish in their cosmetics section. I'm thinking the nail polish will hold up better than the acrylic paint if gun cleaner gets splashed on it. Is that correct?
