They had them on the 10th, too -- so they get them on Mondays...

I'm tempted to order another one! The one I got last week (ordered on the 10th) is a beauty -- best fit and finish I've seen on a pistol in a long time. I'm really impressed by the trigger bar, and the overall feel of the trigger -- which is perfect for a self-defense pistol, in my view, and doesn't need the Apex treatment (which I have in my other M&Ps).

I'm inferring from this data sample of one that S&W is holding the line on quality, while working hard to fill the orders for the Shield...

Thanks, PatBelly, for the timely post. An M&P 9 Shield is ordered to join the M&P 40 Shield that has been my primary CCW for the past 5 months. It's too bad you didn't check back about 1300 hrs Eastern. There were several more Shield 9s and 40s offered. My Daughter and Son-in-Law were able to purchase one each. I know... it's as if you are being teased for something that's out of your control.

I checked Buds about 10:30 to see if they still had the M&P 15 OR in stock.
They didn't have them , but they showed Shields in stock.
I immediately ordered a 9 mm.
I have been on the waiting list for several months and never got an email.
I have been impatiently waiting for Buds to have them, $335 shipped can't be beat.

Actually had one in my cart today but had to cancel. The Chief Financial Officer (wife) started yelling at me....

She would be off the one day I catch them instock... Oh well.... I ll just get two next week.....


And no responce from Buds Customer Service about not getting the emails.

I never got either of the 'in stock' emails... I may call them and ask why.

I signed up and got an email when the 642's were in stock and snagged one of them.

I got one on the 10th, and I am thinking the same as S&W Rover... I may need another one or two because they are really nice guns.....
