I've had two guns shipped to my FFL from individuals via USPS over the years. Yes, I know .
One was shipped with no paperwork at all. I didn't get a call from my FFL because he had no idea who the gun was for. After I called the sender I figured it out.
My FFL didn't make a Federal case out of it once I was able to get the senders ID.
That gun was off this forum.
Not everyone follows the rules, hence their low cost to ship. How many times have we heard "machine parts".

Just a bit to add. If shipping via USPS how many folks are aware of Form 1508?? Which must be on file with the shipping USP office or filled out each time?? My Oh My that will send the USPS clerk into orbit!

It sent one USPS clerk into orbit, newer Postmaster, no problem.
But I probably should do a new one the next time I ship a gun, its been awhile.
