Shipping Ammunition

Just an update...
The government recently changed shipping rules for ammunition. The old "ORM-D" labels are no longer allowed. You'll need to use one if these labels or draw it on with a marker:

I went to Fed-Ex today and was told that only FFl's can ship ammo through them.

The Fed Ex hubs, not the small stores, should ship the ammo for you. The small stores have been given some really pathetic rules.

FedEx no longer ships ammo unless you are licensed. The policy changed last year, hub or store doesn't matter.

UPS is the only option for non-FFLs and for now still restively simple.

I just shipped some ammo last week via UPS. It was painless. It does require the diamond as noted previously. The shipping is UPS Ground, but due to the weight, can get expensive, so factor that into whatever price you may be quoting for the ammo unless you're quoting it as "buyer pays actual shipping".
