I haven't been to Dick's in a long time. The only thing gun related I ever bought there were some shotgun shells. If they are doing this for PC move, they can go jump.

I don't consider myself a good customer just go to buy
ammo when its on sale I went today to pick up 50 rds
of .223 for 18 95 not great but average price, that's when
I found out.
I am starting a new job at Bass Pro AC next week
wont need Dicks anymore

There's a new store up here, Field & Stream. No connection to the magazine, it's owned by Dick's Sporting Goods. They've got all kinds of guns, ammo and related hunting/shooting items. It's my guess Dick's is reverting to traditional stick & ball sporting goods and letting the Field & Stream stores sell the outdoor stuff. We'll see.....

Absolutely I go in tomorrow for the start of 16 hours of
orientation I talked to the manager in the gun dept. he said
they have on order an extensive line of guns, long and hand
the counter is long, pictures will follow if they are allowed
in the store. Employee discounts are offered , but not on firearms
Cant wait ,my 7 year retirement is about to end.

We usually go down twice a year, depending on whether we can get cheap rooms or not. Bally's, Harrahs, or Caesars.
We do a bit of slots, visit the outlet stores(Eddie Bauer for me), Kerbecks Chevy, then go to Carmine's

for dinner.
Ever been to Carmines? Best only order one meal for two people, the portions are crazy big.
Next time down, I'll stop in.

Yep, I've been there a few times. They're the top seller in the country, by far.
The new Bass is situated perfectly.

Could be a license issue. I've seen stores forget to renew their licenses, or they don't have a qualified person on staff to sign the license. Happens all the time at our local Walmart ammo counter. Or maybe the BATFE is unhappy about something.

Found out today they were suspended for having unregistered
employees selling long guns and ammo. In the peoples republic of NJ
you need what is sometimes referred to as a purple license to do that.
The NJ state police were in Bass Pro to do a records check that we are in the process of obtaining and went to Dicks afterward to check theirs
that's when they found the "Boo boo" suspended at least until Christmas if not permanently. If I remember correctly this is the second offense
