Just starting to reseach some shooting glasses. What are you experiences/recommendations? What color works the best for outdoor shooting? I am considering these

Thoughts? Thanks

When it comes to shooting glasses, polycarbonate is by far the safest eye protection. I use prescriptiion polycarb in clear and sunglasses.
If you don't need the prescription, the S&W polycarb shooting glasses are plenty good.
If you want to spend more on cool, and trendy, that's up to you---just be sure they are polycarbonate.

+1 Smith polycarbs are hard to beat

The glasses at your link claim to have better impact resistance than polycarbonate at 10% less weight. Like has been pointed out - impact resistance with clarity is key. All my glasses are polycarbonate prescription glasses. That way I don't have to worry about if I have the right ones on for shooting.

As for color, it seems that yellow is usually for dawn/dusk. It gives noticeably better contrast enabling you to distinguish things better. As for other times of day or what's "cool", that is up to you.

Anything Tidy Project is of the highest quality and will do and protect what they say will. I have been able try multiple pairs and have loved them all. Light, sturdy and reliable. I would say they are better than Oakley. Price for me is out of my range. I am hard on glasses and getting new ones every few months.

Look up Revision brand eye protection. They make some really good stuff. I own a pair and am very hapy. Some of their google type shooting glasses can stop a .22 magnum bullet.

Revision is the BEST. I have used them for years and would not trade them for anything. They even have a place to put prescription lenses. They are spendy, but how valuable are your eyes? Get the complete set of lenses with the glasses, you will have all your bases covered. The yellow makes everything POP, but can be overkill on sand dunes, that's where the grey comes in.
