I hope I can impose on the membership here for a few moments to ask for your help.

I've been commissioned to conduct a survey gun owners to determine if your needs for a range are currently being met, and what sort of range services and shooting styles you guys would like to have available if your present range/club does not provide them.

The survey is completely confidential and takes less than five minutes to complete.
Please feel free to circulate this link among your fellow gun owners. The more responses we have from a diversified population, the better the quality of information.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation!

Les, the poll was commissioned by a fully vetted gun-friendly source and needs to be anonymous because any disclosure would bias the response, just like the Coke/Pepsi challenge had to be 'blind'. If it helps you put it into perspective, I've been deeply involved in 2nd Amendment advocacy, if that helps in any sort of way.

If you take a moment to just look at the questions, you can decide for yourself if you're comfortable answering. No personal information is required. The only thing in question is whether or not your current shooting needs are being met and if not, what would you want, how far would you travel to get what you want, and how much would you be willing to pay. Hardly information that's 'sensitive' in any sort of way.

As to how the information will be used, if I were to tell you that it would also violate the 'blind' and objective reason.

I fully understand your concerns. If anyone is not comfortable, please don't discourage others from participating - let them make their own decisions.

Thanks for asking!

Just wanted to jump in and let everyone know that the responses have been rolling in and thank those who have filled out the survey for their time. We are nearing completion and will close out the survey soon, so if you have been thinking of responding, please do so as soon as possible.

Thanks!

I tried, but it kept saying it needed something else, after about a dozen attempts to review and fix, still no go.:(
Thanks for giving it a try. For those of you looking on, please be aware that some fields are numeric only, for example the question of how many members your range has can only be a number, so that might be the trouble.
