Shostle and Shostle

Consolidating my storage areas and am finding old jewels.

I bought the model 60 Shostle engraved revolver first and after a few years I found a Shostle engraved knife.

Now they are together for the first time.

I dealt with Ben several times in his gun shop, probably before he became well known as an engraver. An interesting character. Some liked him, some didn't. I had no problems with him. Known for his serious manner, volatile temper and deep gravelly voice due probably to his chain smoking. The last time I saw him was at an Indy 1500 Gun and Knife show looking very ill on oxygen tubes in his nostrils. Probably only about 60 yrs old.

I used to like talking with Ben. It was hard for an engraver of his talent to lose his vision. He was a unique person.
