I have a friend who owns a J. Stevens Shotgun single shot 12 Ga. that needs a foregrip. It was made in Chicopee Falls, Mas, serial number CK542. On the barrel it says, "Electro Steel Choke bored"

Any information would be appreciated as this is a heirloom handed down to him. I thank you so much for looking and hope to hear from someone saying they have at least a dozen of these laying around! :D

Numrich would be the first place I'd check, failing that, how much sentimental value does he attach to the gun? These old single shots used to be super common and cheap at gunstores, though I haven't seen many since I left the northeast. I've got a suspicion that his best bet will be to simply buy another of the same model (likely on the cheap) to cannibalize.

Not knowing what it looks like, or if any of the original remains, it may be possible to make one yourself if you have at least minimal woodworking skills. But if part of it is metal and missing, that may not work.
