Should I have this 1952 Smith & Wesson K-22 reblued?

Folks around this forum will generally advise against almost any refinish to almost any gun. Supposed to hurt the collector/resale value I guess....and that may be true. However, if you truly plan to keep it, why pass it down to the kids all worn out looking? Get someone who knows how to do a good job and go for it. You might even consider a tougher finish like nickle or hard chrome. I personally like them to look nice....not ragged out.
