Need recommendations for a good shoulder holster for my 642-2. Doesn't matter the material as long as it conceals good. Thanks in advance!:)

Thank you very much for the link! I actually like his Model SKR and think I will try and contact him.

My pleasure, neighbor. I have an SMZ that is EXCELLENT for deep concealment. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Oh, and WELCOME TO THE FORUM!

Yes, welcome!
If you're a lefty, I think its OldCop that has a black leather one for sale in the misc. accessories for sale page.
Make unknown, but he'll fill that in.

Thanks for the tip but, I'm a righty. I think I'm going to go for the Null SKR setup. Not to often I settle that fast but, the looks and description sounds like it'll fill the bill for me. Great site!!

Well, I continued my searching while trying to get a hold of KL Null and, found me something different but along the same lines. Nevada Gun Leather has an upside down shoulder holster that will fit the bill also. I ordered their #155 for the 642 and am waiting for it's arrival and will post thoughts once it is here. Thanks for the tips and suggestions!

Thanks for the tip. Being a lefty I made contact with OldCop and bought his Nevada Gun Works upside down holster for my 642.

My concern is that the gun, with stock rubber boot grips, would not fully seat the trigger guard into the holster. And, if it does, will there be enough room to get my fingers on the grip for a proper draw?

I called Nevada GW and asked about this issue. They could not provide an answer.

Ken (OldCop) was nice enough to send me photos of his gun in the holster. His gun had a Tyler T-grip, which fills up almost as much behind the trigger guard as the rubber grips. Won't know for sure if this combination is going to work until I get the holster. OP-you may have the same issue.

I took the boot grips off my 642 and installed an Altamont Combat grip. Hopefully there won't be any issues. I'll post a follow up once the holster is here. Thanks for the heads up!;)
