Show me a pic of ya 4 legged friend

Beautiful pics! Where would we be without our 4 legged friends? Actually 4 legged family members! And Barb, are you sure, I mean really sure, Sadie doesn't have some red fox in her bloodlines?:) (she's beautiful!)

Great thread, awesome pictures!

It's a very bad thing to spoil your dog.

Katie respectfully disagrees.

Well, Nick is gone now... but watching the sun rise over Scroon Lake (NY-Vt border) together is unforgetable.

The horsemen (and women) will recognize that horses do not like to be laying down & vulnerable with activity going on. We arrived early & were setting our camp up while others arrived. There was Nick SLEEPING out there oblivious to it all. Nick truely enjoyed camp life...

Those other camps were set up while he was there. He was safely hobbled & picketed with a panic snap (never needed).

Here's one of my Beagle Maisy when she was younger, showing the Mrs. how to jump.

Here is Squirt. I've had several dogs of different breeds over the years. I had never had a Boston Terrier before, but this is now my favorite breed for a companion dog. She has the best disposition of any dog I've had and she never barks, except when told to speak. She gave us a couple of scares a few months ago. We almost lost her to illness on two separate occassions (poisoned and allergic reaction to people food), but she has bounced back in great form.

This is a pic of our little guy, KATO. He's a 15 year old Yorkie.

A week or so before this past Christmas he was attacked by a fox here in our yard. His right rear leg was chewed on a bit as well as a fairly deep puncture wound on his neck and front leg. He must have gotten a few licks in himself, as one of his front canine teeth was fractured, twisted and almost yanked out.

He had surgery this past Monday for dental work... they pulled a couple of teeth. He's home, on anti-biotics and doing fine. He's almost back to his usual self and has a good appetite!
