Show me a pic of ya 4 legged friend

Here is Squirt. I've had several dogs of different breeds over the years. I had never had a Boston Terrier before, but this is now my favorite breed for a companion dog. She has the best disposition of any dog I've had and she never barks, except when told to speak. She gave us a couple of scares a few months ago. We almost lost her to illness on two separate occassions (poisoned and allergic reaction to people food), but she has bounced back in great form.

I'm so glad she's bounced back!

I agree with you 100% about the BT breed. Our little Ike was our first BT too, and he's utterly fantastic! My daughter-in-law calls him the "Human Dog," due to his instincts, expressions and uncanny way of knowing just what to do.

He's perky, super-attentive and alert, intelligent, funny and affectionate.

Ike also has an iron stomach . . . liking a little bit of most everything I eat and rarely having anything except a "normal" stool. Each dog, I guess, is different . . . just like people.

Here's Ike after my wife and I wore him out playing with him and his favorite toy. He always looks so cute with his toy after he plays . . . usually holding it up with his paws.

Come to think of it, here's how he always likes to hold it . . .

This is Mr. Biggs again, with his best friend Hopper.

A couple years ago my daughter Angel fed and found homes for 14 strays.
We kept the Maine Coons Mr. Biggs & his sister Melanie. The 2 of them spent the winter before last living in my work van. A mobile cat house. When we couldn't find a home for Hopper we let him come in. Once he found out he didn't have to defend against all the critters in the forest anymore he turned into quite the character. He is the smallest but also the scrappiest. Nobody messes with hopper who weighs in at a whopping 5 pounds. Biggs is 27 pounds!

This is an old pic, taken in December of '08, as the puppy is much bigger now. Vickers, who will be four in April is about 215 lbs. and Jones, who will be two in April, is about 150 lbs. Both are wonderful dogs!

Moosie and Jaque. Moosie was a Cardigan Welsh Corgi and Jaque is a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog.

I lost one of my best friends, Avery, a Black Std Poodle to bloat last year, and in a search for a suitable buddy for our other Std Poodle Isaac, found this bundle of hair sittin in our local pound.
She's a 4 yr old, 82 lb Airdale Terrier, that answers to Missy, and she's a hoot.
Here is a before a bath and haicut pic, and after.

Here's the two youngest of our four - Konan is a Bombay that my wife rescued as a kitten up in Boston - he was about to be put out in the street ( at 2 lbs ! ) The big guy is Mikey - another shelter cat - adopted him from the Frederick County (MD) shelter - Konan needed a friend his own age. These two are best buddies and running, wrestling and stalking champs - some amazing moves between the two of them. And yes, Mikey is a Maine Coon - Konan is the little guy at 16 lbs , and Mikey is over 20 - can't wait til he's full grown !

The Maine coon cat is an awesome feline and i grew up with one given to me from auntie and uncle from Friendship, Maine. We named her "Buttons" and she was the heartiest most resourceful creature I ever knew. Lived to be be 19 and wow, what a hunter. Loved the outdoors and even during the bizzard of '78 here in the northeast couldn't coax here into the house:D......beauty.

My boy Chipper "backstanding" another setter on point one cold January morning about two years ago.

Pointing a single bird as a young hunter goes in on his first ever flush. Note the proud grandpa watching the proceedings.

Chipper is a Llewellin Setter.

Thanks for the photo's, Redlevel. I spent a few years of my youth walking behind a Llewellin. Anyone who hasn't done this, will never know the joy and satisfaction it can bring. Shooting quail over a pointing dog is one of those priceless moments in our short life.
