Glock 'em Down I'd give Craig Spegel a call..
I think what He's stating on his webpage is that the grips can warp..
I would also think once tightened on a handgun that this almost couldn't happen BUT?? He is very knowledgeable about the types of woods that He uses & may have the exact answer for you, Besides He's a great guy too...
