I just recently received my brand new S&W model 317-3 AirLite 22LR round butt, J-Frame revolver.

I am pretty sure the factory grip is going to be kept in the box. I would like to see some pics of various grips folks have on their 317 Air Lite. It is a question of looks. Regular round butt Magnas would be fine. It is more a color thing.

I don't really want to see more rubber grips, just various woods, laminates, Pearl, Ivory. It is not a question of comfort or shootability. It is a pocket 22LR for hiking. The finish on the 317-3 looks almost like paint. I want to see what others have put on. I don't want to buy a bunch of grips looking for the right look. Thanks. i

I just used Uncle Mike's Boot grips on mine (designed by Craig Spegel).

They worked great (as do all Spegel Boot grips)

It's a cold day here, so this was a good excuse to pull out my 317's. I had the Spegel designed UM boot grips on them for a long time and like them, but I obviously decided to dress the guns up at some point. It's been too long since I had them out.

My 317 currently has a set of Ahrends FG Boot grips. The 317-1 has a set of Eagle SS grips.
