did anyone see the recent topgun where they were shooting S&W's?
they had an early M&p and a schofield.
The show was about trick shooting.
the M&P was very accurate, (see: Ed McGivern). they were shooting DA, one handed at nails in a board from 25 feet.
one guy hit 2 and just barely missed the third.
The other teams guy missed all three but 2 were within a 1inch group with
a flyer.
the schofield was used to shoot at hand thrown pop cans, one handed, the can must go under a 5 foot high rope when thrown.
only 2 hits out of nine, but I dont think that was the guns fault, several shooters could barely get the throw right let alone the shot.
I usually watch about one third of the show and FF thru the rest, but
I got a kick out of their using the old S&W's.
