Show Us Your K-32/Model 16s

K-32's

Here are a couple more.

The first I call "The Mutt" as it has obviously had some modifications at some time in its past. A new cylinder and ejector star not numbered to the gun, all the rest match. Chambered for .32 H&R Magnum. Oh, and the Weaver bases for the scope.

Well, the price was right, and it is an accurate, fun shooter. My first K-32.

Notice how the front sight is mounted about 1/8" from the muzzle. Barrel measures 5 15/16", so not cut down from a longer barrel.

S/N in the low K80,000 range.

Next a newer K-32 circa 1955. No mods, just a nice example and great shooter.

Letters have been requested for both.

Decided to join the group pictures with the .32 collection. Upper left is a pre-16 with some laying on it's side imperfections. Was the production run right after the LERK pre-16's, very early model. Great shooter.

Lower left, a 3" full lug "K" in .327 made by Andy Horvath on a model 15 frame and round butted my me. More of a winter carry gun, too bulky for me in the summer.

Upper right, is a 5" PPC made by Andy on a model 15 frame. Found the barrel in the classified years ago, though a 3" full lug would be perfect in .327.

Right side 1 down, just a 16-4 rearmed by Andy to .327.

Right 2 down, the Pre-war K .32 made from a Pre-war M&P target. A chance to own a Pre-war target and shoot it but not pay the higher price if ever one is found for sale.

Lower right, is a 5" .32 made from a 6" K-22. Yea, Andy did it. Thought a 5" would be cool. He retained the floating firing by moving it to the center fire position. This was made as Green Frog's 616 was being made by Andy Horvath.

The next pictures are of a T/C Contender with a TCA .32 long barrel. Very rare Barrel unfortunately it was reamed to .327. "It's for sale if interested"!!

The revolver is a Manurhin MR32 in .32 long. It's a twin to the MR73 in .357. Totally lucky, it was listed wrong and I was the only bidder. Both Manurhin revolvers are very accurate.

That's all the .32's in the safe, Larry
