Whether blue, nickel, or stainless, please show your Combat Masterpiece.

I consider the Combat Masterpiece the finest revolver in .38 Special ever produced. And when loaded with +P's, maybe the best combat revolver ever produced.

My wife declared my Combat Masterpiece as her own. She carries it with her when she travels and it resides in her side of the bed's night stand. She wanted it to look more "feminine and pretty," so she had me put on these faux mother of pearl stocks. She likes these as she says they fit her hands.

Thanks for looking.

I do hope you'll show your "Combat Masterpiece."

God bless,

My bead blasted model 67. An old duty gun from somewhere before it entered service with an armored car company. I bought it there when they were disposing of old weapons. Pretty beat up when I got it but cleaned up great and one heck of a shooter. Cocobola grips from the old Hogue auction site.

I see we are including .22s so I’ll toss my 18-3 into the mix. Shipped with TT / TH but I don’t have the original grips.

As a senior at Nathan Hale high school in Tulsa, OK 1977 we had career day and an officer came to our class to talk about a career with the Tulsa PD. I remember as he pulled his Combat Masterpiece out of the holster and unloaded it and showed it to the class. The gun had smooth Target stocks, red ramp front sight, and was a very shiny blue. I always wanted a Smith .38 or 357 after that with adjustable sights and Target stocks.

I have several, but I believe this is my favorite (don't tell the others, I don't want a war started in my safe)...My favorite 4" anyway...A four screw shipped with target hammer, target trigger, trigger stop and target stocks on 6/14/1960 to Charles Greenblatt in NYC...There were ten just like it in the shipment...:o...Ben

I've got two these days. One in 38, the other in 22. Both are -2's, from 65-66 time period.

I had this one, the 38, out to the range last week for 100 rounds of wadcutters. From 5-25 yards, it made me look like I knew what I was doing. I always think of these two as female, like you do a ship for some reason. I always think of them as "she" or "her". With her Eagle faux MOP grips, I think it's easy to see why.

I haven't had the 22 long, only a month or so, and I probably paid too much for it, but they don't turn up every day, especially with the target hammer, trigger, and diamond targets and it's original blue box. I passed it up once, but when it was still there a week later I was hooked. It's been on every range trip since then and is just a joy to shoot. It's the older of the two by about a year.
