Sig P220 slide

Will a Sig P220 slide (complete) fit any Sig P220 frame? I know Sig sells .22lr conversions for P220's and .45acp conv. for P220 22lr's that are both complete slides.

This leads me to believe that a slide off any P220 would fit any P220 frame.

Anybody know?

I can tell you this much: I've run a carry top end and a compact top end (actually, these are the same length) on both a full size DA/SA and SAO frame. No issues. The full size frames spanned production periods of over 10 years.

I have not gone the other direction: full size slides on compact or carry frames.

Not definitive, but a partial answer to the OP's question.
