Sight choices for 66 no dash

I was recently given a model 66 no dash 9K serial range that has the stainless sights. this was a previous duty gun that the owner bought from the department after going to the 686. I have tried shooting with it but the sights are difficult for me to use. being a shooter grade LE trade in, is it possible to have the later blued sights installed? opinions please. thank you.

Yes, you can replace the rear sight with a blued unit. Save your stainless sight since you'll want to re-install it if you decide to sell the gun.

Or you can put some removable black paint or similar on both the "slide" (rear sight blade) and front sight.

On my nickel kit gun front sight I just hit it with a black sharpie marker from time to time.
