Sigma 9ve missing rounds.

i've recently bought my first hand gun SW9ve 9MM.
I'm sniper and normally use PSG-1 and PSG-99.

Sigma 9VE is a very nice pistol it fits in my hand better then Glock 19(service pistol) shoots well and i was amazed...the gun is more accurate then glock 19 (trust me) it is...

Problem: sometimes when i pull the trigger fire pin releases but no boom..just reload and it fires, then put the same missed round in mag reload and boom it fires.
This is happening to me from the first mag out.almost every time it miss one short , again put same bullet and fire,round goes off...
Question : Is the prob with bullets (FMJ bullets i'm using) or its a firepin problem or with Mag???.never had this with Glock 19 ..
one more thing trigger is bit stiffer then Glock but it doesn't matter to me. when your in a bad time even if your trigger is 100 lbs you have to pull it even if you need a truck to pull.LOL

Did you purchase the firearm NEW or Used?

How did your primers look when the mis-fired rounds ere ejected the first time? Light strike, no strike?

Was the slide fully in battery as you went to eject the mis-fires?

What ammunition did you use?

Have you tried more than one brand of ammunition?

If this is a used firearm, springs may have been changed or clipped in order to improve the SIGMAs usually very heavy trigger pull. This might be a source of your trouble. This might show as light primer strikes

If the slide was not fully in battery you might have a situation were the firing pin block did not allow a primer strike.

If this is a NEW firearm, have you taken it back to the store it was purchased from yet?

However the PrickSkytteGevär 90 or PSG90 is a Swedish rifle imported to the US by Accuracy International.

sorry my bad ....i'd tapped 9 two times its MSG-90 and its not Swedish i think its a US or Germany made rifle...(don't have time to read the maker's name sorry) we normally use in Pakistani Millitary ,G3,M16/A2, SMG Type 56-2, M4 carbine and AK-107 ,M82, M-40, PSG1,MSG-90,MP5A1 and SD ,Dragenov SD, Glock 17,19 and 23, Socom, (Beretta M9 is decommissioned Now coz of size and accuracy)

1.Its a new one.

2 when i pull the trigger just sound of firepin release and nothing else..tap,rake, bullet off ,trigger pull and bam.....
sometimes a light strike sometimes nothing....

3.yeah slide is just fine all the times.
(but i'm confused about slide too,if you look at the slide there is noticeably huge gap b/t frame and slide which is not in Glocks and even M&Ps. Is it in the design or the slider is sitting properly on the frame)

4.I live in Pakistan and here only we are allowed to use Chines and Czhce bullets for civillian Use. i'm using Chines FMJs 115gr.

5.yes i tried both available brands.

6.No its a New one and i felt huge trigger when i fired it first and i was like but then i had disassembled it and just removed 2 uesless springs out the trigger assumbly (I have had fixed my sniper rifles by my self in war zones and at home many times so i have a little bit idea about triggers and bolts and all that after pulling both out its just like a glock 23 now but still trigger take a long F...ing way to recharge. i didn't understand why Smith and wesson put those two springs in trigger specially the pig tail spring...!!! for a hard safe trigger??? Man if a person don't know what is called trigger and what is its function in a gun .....he/she is not suppose to carry or even hold it loaded in hands.there is better option to put a manual safety rather then make a F..ked up trigger.(remember i have now prob with the trigger but my wife had coz she is not a sniper LOL)

7.Man i have a hard job and long duty times.i'm not able to take it back to store my self.i have to do what i can do with it by my self.

The Militärisches Scharfschützen Gewehr 90 or MSG-90 is a less expensive variation of the German HK PSG-1.

#3) the gap is standard on the SIGMA. The early frames flexed and that gap prevents the frame and slide from contacting each other.

If you can come upon another type of ammo, I would give it a try. Not having knowledge of the ammunition you are using and it's odds of being in spec for a US gun, that is where I would look for your issue.

Also how many rounds do you have through it? You might have a break-in issue

Try taking the striker assay apart, and swab out the striker channel with naphtha (zippo lighter fluid) or some other volatile liquid that will leave no residue and a q tip….. a lot of new striker fired guns have machining swarf in the striker channel and combined with a copious amount of oil, the metal shavings tend to bind and slow the firing pin travel intermediately….. after you clean it, try to keep oil out of the striker channel, it must stay dry and clean.

The gap is normal, all polymer frame guns have them, as the slide rides on the rails, not the plastic frame….

availability of ammo is a big issue here so only to makers...
till now 3700 rounds. and 4 full clean and lubrication.
till now 21 jams of same type. No double feed nor a empty round jam.mags are just perfect no loss nothing.just misfires.
i had bought this gun month ago. and coz i have fun firing it every day i spend almost 80 dollars on ammo LOL... i don't know why but it feels good in hands its accurate enough even on 75 yards.yesterday i made 5 inch groups from 75 yards single handed. This is the main reason why i'm not selling it or buying another one after prob.tap rack fire is better then missing your target
by the way i don't know what you friends call this method in USA or in your native counties but Tap rak fire means:- when you misfire hit mag with your palm then reload your gun that is called rak or rake (that will throw a bullet out of your chamber) and fire means fire...i'm using this term coz i heard these words for this action from the day one of my training so Pardon.

tomorrow is the 1000 rounds day for this beast....i'll do this as directed and this i idea clicked much in my mind ......i think your right this a common prob and oiling striker is the big myth in firearms according to my expriance dry striker work more efficient then a lube bathed striker .LOL

yeah your right but gap was little bigger then normal like in Glocks and Czs but i think this gap helps in another way too, immediate heat exhaust.may be i'm wrong bu i notice Sw9ve immediately cool down after firing where Glocks take 2-3 mints and this will prevent choking for a very long time.
