I have been enjoying shooting my 40VE for about a year or so. Gotten pretty good at shooting it.
I had a chance to pick up a NIB 9VE last week for a pretty good price so I grabbed it.
To my surprise the trigger on the new gun feels almost exactly like the other pistol that has about 3000 rounds through it. I expected it would need a lot of breaking in but it doesn't look like it.

My regular range has been closed due to the roads being washed out in December so today got a chance to shoot at a local indoor range.
Boy, is the 9mm sweet to shoot. Very little recoil compared to the 40 and shoots dead on at 30' with 124gr WWB and 147gr SXT. 200 rounds and didn't skip a beat.
I may just use the 9mm for HD duty since the follow up shots are easier...
Anyway, once you master the trigger control I think you can pick up any Sigma and do well with it.

I have a .40VE and have been thinking of picking up a 9mm Sigma to go with it also. If the right one came along I would do it in a heartbeat, as I love my .40.

Fraternal twins, I like!

Same reason I went with 9mm. Won't do me any good to whiff with a more powerful round. To quote one of my favorite characters... "A man's got to know his limitations". :D

different boat

I'm in a different boat. I own the 9ve. Another local hunting, firearm store had the sigma in 9mm and 40 cal for 299. A friend of mine said the dropped the price today to 289. Not much of a price difference but that sure is a sweet price tag for me to pick up the 40 cal and complete my set. =)

Once you master the Sigma trigger, you can do well with ANY handgun. :D

I picked up my buddies 357 Mag 686 and bunched up rounds with no problem.
