Sigma wont come apart

Im trying to fields strip this thing and the slide wont come off it just pushes forward about half an inch. wont lift off or slide off. nada.

the mag removed, chamber empty pull back slide to make sure chamber empty. pull trigger, pull slide back about 1/8 to 1/4 inch then push both left and right take down buttons down and hold down and slide should move forward and come off or check out this site and vidio

That's all there is to it. I admit to trying to pull the slide without dropping the mag, DUH!

First time I field stripped it I forgot to pull the trigger.. So easy to field strip though.
