This is my favorite holster for anything Smith & Wesson N Frame
Its the 120 by Simply Rugged out of Chino Valley, Arizona
Rob does a superb job on these holsters
I also love his Sourdough Pancake Holster as well
But, the 120 is like a Tom Threepersons holster if you will - i just feel its the sharpest lookin holster for an N Frame Smith
As for how the gun fits and carries, its a perfect fit & when carrying, I don't even know that I have it on.
The one I have is finished in their Oxblood color

Wow, that is downright beautiful. The quality of the photos is impressive.

Would you mind showing a picture of the holster/gun being worn? Just want to see how it rides on the belt/waist.

A Simply Rugged holster is on my list to get because of the numerous recommendation by members here.

Thanks.

Absolutely- only thing is, im on vacation at the moment but, I'll be back home this coming Sunday
But, I would bet the farm that you'll love how it rides on the belt
I honestly can't even tell its on me when I walk around & that's impressive considering a 5" 27-2
Oh, & thank you for the compliment!
This ole Samsung s23 ultra has been phenomenal at taking pics

Thank you PauldL. Take your time with the picture. I'm curious because the 5" N frame is not a lightweight gun to hang from the belt.

Here's my 5" 27-2

Totally understand & it doesn't flop over at all either
I really love this holster - I wear a regular El Paso Saddlery Belt

Love it - that'll do to "ride the river with" as the saying goes.

5" 27s are near and dear to me, too - looking forward to more pics of this holster when time permits.

Dang! That looks brand new! Nice leather too! 😎

Many thanks! The gun definitely has some wear that is well-masked by the near-dusk timeframe the pic was taken haha…that, and a post-cleaning dose of Renaissance Wax and it picks up quite a gleam.

I'm a total nerd for the likes of the Barranti Leather Summer Classic IWB holster for this gun (have a separate one sized for my 4" Model 28s). It works crazy-well for me.

Since everybody is posting pics, I'm going to jump in as well.

It isn't just that Rob's holsters at Simply Rugged are great holsters but he is a great guy to work with on special stuff, too.

That is a beautiful holster and I love that color.
El Paso Holsters still makes the Tom Threepersons holster, which is close to this one, but I don't know if they could come close to that color.

Like Simply Rugged Holsters, El Paso Holsters are expensive, and you pay extra for any border stamping or basketweave, but you only need to buy one in your lifetime for that gun... Simply Rugged has that same type of reputation.

I have El Paso Holsters for my SAA's and some N-frames, but they are more the natural leather coloring and you can't beat that Oxblood color...
That gun & holster will last you lifetime...and you will be a hit at any BBQ you attend....

Thank you, sir!
Actually, I was at first gonna buy the El Paso Tom Threepersons but, I just love that Oxblood!
