Let's see your Simply Rugged products.

I just ordered a Sourdough for my 4" 57-5, Long Hunter for my 8 3/8" 629 and a Real Man's belt. These are my first Simply Rugged holsters. Hope they make good hunting holsters.

I'd love to see more pics of your gear. Show it off.

It'll be interesting to see how they "wear-in" after use and I'd like to know how much staining to expect during the hot early season months.

I was highly impressed with the designs offered....but ultimately I had a tight budget to work with and simply went with the enhanced border......those other patterns were really sweet, though.:D

That is a great looking rig.

I may regret not getting the loops on my pair.

Great looking grips on the gun, too.

don't, it's the only thing that keeps mine from being a good concealed holster.

I cant post pics but I think you will be happy. I were a real mans belt, 6 round cartridge slide and a sourdough with a safety strap to carry a 4" 629 I can hide it with tee shirt and its comfortable to boot its just a real solid rig, mine stained like hell though

Did the staining ever cease or do I need to wear this only with hunting gear and old jeans?

I never had a staining issue with 3 different SR holsters.

Pics...sorry, I carry the Rugers while the S&W's are purely range guns:

Really nice looking rigs, WNC Seabee!!!

Rugers are superfine revolvers.

J frame SR holster

Here is my horseback riding rig. M34 flat latch and SR Silver Dollar Pancake floral tooled holster. You don't even know it's there.

Here's my N Frame Simply Rugged, with a 3 1/2" Pre-27, and I also carry my 3" 24-3. Full protection, and carry's so well you forget you have it on.

I never really did have any staining leach off.

For you folks with the blue guns how well are you revolvers holding up to holster wear? Only reason I ask is I noticed holster wear on my heavy barrel M10 in as little as 10 uses with the Sour Dough holster. I'm aware that holster wear is going to happen but frankly I didn't expect to see it in as little as 10 uses. I anticipated it would be more gradual.

I have been wanting to get one of these holsters for awhile for my 657 3 inch. This thread is moving that order to the forefront now.

How well do the IWB straps work out for those who use them? Is re-holstering a problem? I have 3 Simply Rugged holsters but non with the straps. I was thinking of getting one for my new to me 4586.

BTW, they are the best holster deal out there. They are great for the price, very well made and tuff. I have a couple of holsters from differnt makers that may be finer finished but they are not better at what they are made for.

I really like the SR holsters for my revolvers...but my 4566 and a 4513 both ride in a UBG (Ugly Bald Guy) Canute. Great holster, great price.

WNC Seabee, The UBG holsters do look nice. In fact I just ordered a Canute for my 4586. Thanks for the tip:D.
