I have two of Rob's Sourdoughs, one for my Model 66 2 1/2" and one for my 624 3".
Both top shelf!

As Onomea states, it is a Celtic KnotWhat is the significance of the carved emblem in the middle of the holster? The same emblem is on a holster in an earlier post, post #7.
I just ordered a simple Silver Dollar Pancake for my 640-1 Pro in Oxblood. Anxiously awaiting its arrival……
Arrived a couple of days ago…15 days from order. Beautiful, heavy duty construction. Certainly should live up to its "rugged" imprimatur.
I just ordered a 120 in Ox Blood with floral carving for a 6" S&W Model 29
My 2 Sourdough holsters arrived a few days ago, approx 3 weeks from date of order.
I prefer the plain Jane holsters. 1st is for my 3 inch model 64. The second holster is for my Ruger 3 inch Wiley Clapp GP100.
Great quality and value, I now own 4 of them.
Call me crazy but some of those holsters seem unnecessarily big and bulky. Beautiful leather work nonetheless
simplyRugged is my preferred holster maker, must have 20-25 of his holsters for all kinds od handguns.

Man, that's beautifulFor my 627 snubby.
I had Rob line it so it started extra stiff. Nicely broken in, now.
The knot suits my Scots-Irish heritage, you know.
Man, that's beautiful
Btw, what did Rob line it with?
Thank you. Rob and his team did a terrific job.
Cowhide, both outside and in. The liner is a wee bit thinner.
Yes, smooth cowhide lined.
I don't recall knowing the add-on amounts for either of the "options" (lined and carving).
Your best bet would be to call Simply Rugged and ask what their current up-charge for a smooth cowhide lined holster is.
Nice to know they do have smooth cowhide
