This might sound silly, but slings are a LOT more of a pain in the neck than one can imagine. The old school 2 point is less effective for the carbine. A single point sling can be good, you can carry and switch sides easily. The rifle might hang strange, and you will need to either change out the buffer tube ring, or attach a sling to the tube there. (I'd say switch out the ring.....)
A 3 point sling is a VERY good idea. It might take a bit of getting used to, but once you 'get it' you will really understand just how good it works. I will look for some pics for you, or a couple links.
I will say that the 'bungee slings' seem like a great idea, until you run around all day and dive on the ground, and run from tree to tree, and swing the rifle from left to right 100 times. Your neck will be cut to shreds....... A good, soft simple nylon sling is easier to work, hangs up far less on your gear (HUGE ISSUE) and does not attack your throat and neck. It is also much, much easier to adjust quickly and then adjust back. (You change gear, take off a heavy jacket, backpack, etc. you can get the jist of what I mean- the sling needs to be easy to adjust.
