I experienced two of those little unexpected blessings today. Events that don't change your life but remind you to be grateful.

My primary hunting rifle is in .280 Remington caliber. Factory ammo is not routinely stocked in this area except at Bass Pro which believes it should cost at least twice as much as .30-06 or .270. Consequently I treat it as a handloading proposition, but keep a box or two of factory stuff on hand, just in case. During a trip to the local farm store for other items I wandered through the sporting goods area and found 4 boxes of Remington ammo reduced from $33.95 to $12.95 per box. I took two.

Later in the day I was sitting on the porch and heard the drone of a small plane. It turned out to be a biplane. A rarity even in my youth and unheard of today.

Small graces, received with gratitude.

Which make and model is your .280 rifle? I agree that it's a superb ctg.

This is my Gratitude Rock, I've carried it for years.
Every time I see it or feel it in my pocket it reminds me to think of something in my life that I am grateful for.
I could fill this page with everything in my life that I am grateful for.
Gratitude is an important part of life.
