small scratches on blued guns

Is there a way to remove small hairline scratches on blued guns without making it worse. I am referring to scratches that you can see but not feel. Thanks,makilly

I never mess with scratches on a blued gun, gives it character. Besides you can never make them go away with the cold bluing stuff out there only less noticeable.

No.
One of the down sides of bluing is, once its damaged there's nothing you can do short of a total refinish.
Light scratches that are into bright metal can be touched up with cold blue, but that's it.
