1956 S&W Chiefs Special - $600 shipped
I love this pistol but took a chance on it looking for a 1955 specifically. Barely missed it by 1 month according to Mr. Jinks which unfortunately means it doesn't fit my collection. Beautiful case hardening on the trigger and hammer. They don't make 'em like this anymore.
The scratch shown is a hairline scratch that looks more exaggerated than it really is due to the lighting. There is some very light freckling on the barrel on one side. It's barely noticeable. Looks like a sock drawer gun to me. Grips are numbered to the gun.
