Smart gun tech is back

Confusing as usual. The article talks about handguns and then all guns, while the video shows those horrible, horrible assault rifles which are just like military weapons.

I guess I'm just a cynical old curmudgeon,
but based on some recent threads, I bet
there is at least 20% of the members of
this very forum who believe this technology,
or something similar, if it could be made
Reliable, would be a good thing to put into
law.

If this technology is reliable and available, it should be offered as an option to those who would appreciate its use. if there's a market for it, it will succeed.

To require such tech as a mandate is, however, 120-proof idiocy.

So does this include the 2 Colt SAA's that I have?

Having all my revolvers retrofitted would be hundreds of dollars, and who is going to pay that?

Whether this technology is practical is of no interest to its proponents. Their object is to present firearms in any negative manner at every opportunity to do so.

Let's tell them, "Ok -sounds good. Let's do it."

So with that we don't need registration, NFA rules, permits or gun regulations of any kind.
Do away with every law and then we'll all sign on to your "smart gun" horse****.

First they'd stutter then wide eyed silence, I betcha'!

It is disappointing that despite all the medical advances we have seen, there is still no cure for stupid!

The best bumper sticker I ever saw said, "Don't "You Wish Stupidity Was Painful?"

I agree 100%.
