Today, all three contestants missed final jeopardy.
I knew the answer. Ok- I was the only person in the room here.
I was automatic the smartest guy in the room.
The category was State Capitals. How hard could that be ?
You got a one in fifty chance.
Here's the 'answer'
A 1957 event led to the creation of a National Historic Site in this city, signed into law by a President whose library is now there too.
So what's the 'question'?

I've been watching Jeopardy for longer than I can remember and that was the first time I have ever seen all 3 contestants end up with no money. According to the Alex, three new contestants will be on tonight. BTW, I didn't know the answer either.

Me too! That's why I was double amazed that three super smart contestants didn't Know the answer, but I did!
But then again- I am the smartest guy in the room!

There were two co-champions in the game, tonight there will be no champion(s). Had to be a Jeopardy first.

ps my wife knew the answer, but she always does.

My son is usually the smartest person in the room, unless Stephen Hawking, Marilyn van Sant, or Brooke Shields is present.

He has the IQ score to prove that, but dropped out of Mensa after awhile. The others present were bright, but usually boring, as they had few common interests.

I don't think the daughter took that test, but she's very smart, especially for a blonde. She graduated with high honor and has a Master's degree from TCU, also with honor.

She meant to teach and does, but in one school system, they had her teach the other teachers how to teach.

My son is a clever angler, too. I respect a man who can outsmart a brown trout. (No, not in Texas. But he lived up north for a time.)

My kids do well with those game shows, but have never been on one. I can usually get the answers unless the questions are too vague.

What gets to me are the jerks that Waters walks up to on Fox News TV (O'Reilly show) and he asks when was the US Civil War, and the dude thinks maybe in the 1940's. Some of these worthies don't even know that Japan attacked us at Pearl Harbor, let alone when.

The foolish one was the one in third place. If she doubled her money she could not catch # 2 or #1. The only sane plan was to bet nothing which would have left her the winner with #2 & #1 both within a few hundred $$ of each other they both needed to go all in. It doesn't matter how smart you may be if you have no strategy.
