Smith 1066

I have just aquired a Smith 1066 in about 95%. I was told that there were only 1600 made. I know they were made from90-92. My smith serial number is vbs1768. Can someone tell me the the year of manufacture. Thanks!

I believe they made quite a bit more of the 1066, IIRC 1600 sounds about right for the 1086. All the 10xx are great guns though, enjoy.

Blue Book says 5067 units produced. 1000 were 1066NS (factory night sights).
