I have an 18-3 and no it has no red ramp sight.Neither were made with the red ramp sight.
Yes, of course they were. I've had a few over the years.
The red ramps and white inlay rears showed up on alot of the K frames like the 14s, 15, 16, 17,18, and 19s. You either love them or hate them. I prefer them as they give me a better sight picture.

They were offered as an option. As were everything imaginable. Target trigger, target hammer, target stocks, gold bead front sight, whatever you wanted. I was stationed at Westover AFB in the late '50's and early 60's. I visited the factory many times.
Mine is Red Ramp and White Outline with target trigger and hammer and the box to match. Maybe I can get a pic on here tomorrow.

Thank you all for your replies. I am one who likes them. My pre 29 (6 1/2"bbl), 27-2 (5" bbl), 19-4 ( 4" bbl) all have the white outline rear/red ramp front. Now I'm looking for the 18.

I like the red ramp, WO as well, ive been looking for that configuration in the M-18 but so far havent seen one, except in picutres.
Here is my 18-3 RR, WO, TH, TT and box confirms factory.

Cool i didn't think they made them with a red ramp front sight i guess i was wrong nice!
