Smith 29 Silhouette version

I ran across a Model 29 silhouette version with the 10 plus inch barrel and adjustable front sight. In excellent to near mint condition, what are these things going for? I have never seen one before, and am trying to imagine one sticking out of my deer blind.

The prices haven't gone out-of-sight on these guns(YET?). I have seen these go $800-$1000 depending on condition and accessories! I sort of like these guns!

It was built for metallic shiloutte shooting. I have had one for several years and take it to the range often. Despite looking awkward, it handles well and is steady in your hand as you line up the target. The long sighting radius and great sights make for accuracy. A pleasure to shoot. Dave

10 5/8" Model #29

This is my 10 5/8" Model # 29 I got it brand new and had it Mag Na Ported mounted a 2 1/2 power Leupold scope on it and put on a pair of Pachmayer grips. I also had a custom made shoulder type hunting holster made for it.
I will sell it for the right price.

It will make a fabulas deer slayer as I have used mine since handgunning deer in Iowa was made legal . Those deer those two guys got make even more sad though as I had to have surgery causing me to miss out on this last season. Congrats on a super hunt !
