I just got one of these and it shoots great but unfortunately info is scarce and putting a value is even harder. Any help is appreciated!

Great find!

Prices are crazy right now. If you paid less than $1200 I think you did good. I picked up a 1086 locally at a small gun shop and I am having problems finding details about it. My question to you is if yours has night sights. My 1086 was built in late 1990 but has night sights from 1993. I need to pay the $100 dollars for a "Letter" on it when I can afford it.

I got mine from my dad. He's been slowly handing down some stuff and this was one of the recent ones I got. Yes, it has night sights but they're long since dead. I read somewhere that most were issued to the Winston Salem North Carolina police department, which is also where I live. I have no intentions now to sell but was looking for a ballpark on what it's worth, so thanks for the price. I don't know about yours but mine definitely has a smooth trigger pull.

I only fired 4 rounds because of the ammo shortage and the trigger felt great for a double action. Did you get the original box? And if yes what are the features and product code? I really need to suck it up and pay the $100 to get the "Letter" on it.

No, I didn't get the box. Dad said where it was a police trade in, there was no box to get. They put it in a 40 cal box.

Congratulations! The 10mm ammo is not too difficult to come by, but the 10MM guns certainly are scarce outside of auction websites.
