Hi all, just picked up this pc commander. Very excited to take it to the range this a.m and put some rounds through it! Anybody know if the scandium/aluminum frames are +p rated? The manual is kinda vague on that. How well do the frames hold up regarding feed ramps? In example some aggressive hollow points dinging up the ramp, magazine followers etc...Also love the gun but the sights... I would like to put nite sights on it but not sure of sight cut. Been looking at this guy for awhile. down to this or grand raptor from kimber but kimber is full size and steel. So picked this one for carry i think I made the rite decision. Had a gunsite edition commander years back really liked it but let it get away. Not this one!

Looks like mine . What's the product code ? If it's the same as mine , it'll be a tack driver . I put mine up against my m945 , and it was a pretty close call . I wouldn't get rid of mine for any reason , it's that good . A lot of people say the PC guns aren't like the older ones , but that's not the case with mine .

The trij sights from my Sc should fit. You would expect a higher price tag gun would have it.

THATS A BEAUTY, CONGRATULATIONS.......

I STRONGLY DOUBT THAT YOU WILL SUFFER ANY FEED RAMP DAMAGE, FROM HOLLOW POINTS. I DON'T READ THE THE SEMI-AUTO SECTION REGULARY, BUT I DON'T RECALL EVER READING ABOUT SUCH AN ISSUE......

TRY TO PICK AN AMMO WITH A RAMP FRIENDLY OGIVE---LIKE THE BRASS JACKETED GOLDEN SABER, ETC---TO RELIEVE YOUR ANXIETY.......

Thanks guys for the response. Wow what a tack driver and sweet shooter! 200+ down range of mixed brand ammo and not one issue pretty impressive for me anyway. I'm digging it alot!!

I agree that is odd that the E-Series version of the Sc has night sights but the PC version doesn't. I bought an E-Series for that very reason; I don't place a whole lot of accuracy preference on a defensive handgun anyway, given the short distance at which such guns are typically used.

I agree on the accuracy thing ed. I guess with all the other performance center upgrades night sights fell from the list as a cost saving thing I guess. No matter, still love this one! Have to Amazon some night sights but no biggie....

A lot of guys seem to struggle finding aftermarket sights that fit the S&W dovetails but since their E-Series night sights are Trijicons, it would make sense that those sights would also fit your PC gun.
