Smith and Wesson Revolvers still available with no locks

That's a 2007 s/n. If you think of it you can PM me the details whenever. I'd never seen one that early, and would just like to document it.

I have the date of manufacture on this one (give or take a day or two), as the envelope with the required fired case in it was dated Nov. 1, 2007. I recorded it in my computerized database.

I also had a 40-1. S/N DBJ05XX. Mine was blue. Very nice shooting gun.

Even if S&W would leave the lock off of some revolvers, they reshaped the frame in the area of the hammer's arc. That ruined the lines of an elegant gun. To get back to what shooters want, they would have to start with different frame forgings.
