ive had a finish challenged M-15 for some time now and i recently picked up a similarly holster rubbed M-19. what kind of coin are we looking at if i were to send them to smith to be refinished?

the M-15 i got because i carried one in the Air Force and i actually drew several different pistols. ocaissionally i would get one that was bead blasted (i think!) before being reblued because i seem to remember it having a satin finish not unlike parkerizing but it really was a smooth satiny look...

on a side note, if i send an M-36 in because a previous owner(?) had the single action sear removed, what kind of price would i be looking at to get it restored (new hammer or trigger) would they be like Colt and refinish it for free or tune it up or put new stocks on it while it was in the shop?

im tempted to just get the hammer bobbed but ive not made any kind of decision like that yet. still looking for info first...

Go to the S&W website. I believe they have their prices posted. I highly recommend their refinishing service.
