Smith & Wesson 2nd model 44 spl HE

I was wondering if someone might be able to help me of date on my 44 spl 6 1/2" barrel serial # is 257XX. It has vintage mother of peral grip also. I traded for it and also wondering it's value. It's between 80 & 85% over all. Thank You

I traded a remington 870 wingmaster 12ga well used.

My guess would be that you could have traded two new 870's and still been ok.
